"description":"This map contains the following:Fluvial Erosion Hazard Zones, created utilizing the New Hampshire implementation of the Vermont Stream Geomorphic Assessment protocols, for all of New Hampshire, based upon data from geomorphic assessments to date. New Hampshire Geological Survey 2014.Data collected at stream crossings throughout New Hampshire between 2009 and 2014, for use in transportation, water management and hazard mitigation purposes. The attribute table contains a suite of information regarding each crossing, in addition to the geomorphic and aquatic organism passage compatibility rankings, which can be mapped for culvert replacement prioritization planning.Location information for river geomorphic features mapped during the NH implementation of the Vermont Phase 2 protocols. These include alluvial fans, beaver dams, grade controls, active migration features (flood chutes, potential avulsions), and steep riffles or headcuts. A separate guide , entitled \"Descriptions of fluvial geomorphology data,\" from 2014, is available from the New Hampshire Geological Survey, Department of Environmental Services. Locations of roads, rails, and trails that are near assessed rivers, as identified in the New Hampshire implementation of the Vermont Phase 1 and Phase 2 geomorphic assessment protocols. Impacts addressed include erosion, berms, no riparian buffers, mass failures, improved paths, riverside development, stormwater drains and bank armoring.",
